The second investigation concerns a young woman fished out of the Thames in the middle of the night, badly burned and barely alive. Meanwhile, Monica is thrown into doubt after her ex-boyfriend Richard leaves a message on her answering machine. Her friends tell her repeatedly that it's an old message, but she obsesses over it. Monica leaves what she believes is a breezy message, which clearly isn't when she plays it for the group. However, it's followed by a message from another woman. Monica freaks out again, but then she thinks it could be Michelle, Richard's daughter. She calls Michelle to confirm, but Michelle calls back and things get a little awkward. At the end of the episode, Monica leaves a new message for Richard blaming her previous actions on her period only to accidentally set it as his outgoing message. Monica panics and thinks the solution is getting the phone company to change his number. Phoebe says "I think he'll be doing that himself after this."
As currently illustrated in his memory, Tuvok tells Janeway that while the rest of the crew were happy to follow the captain in his defiance of Starfleet's orders, he wasn't. He then argues with Sulu that as Starfleet officers, they are under obligation to follow any and all orders. Sulu finds Tuvok's declaration to be rather bold for someone who has had an entire two months of space duty. Rand, having served with Sulu, Kirk, and McCoy on USS Enterprise as a yeoman, is aghast at Tuvok's behavior and chides him for questioning the captain's decision. She attempts to relieve him of duty while apologizing to the captain, but Sulu motions to her that it's okay. Sulu tells Tuvok that while he's technically right, he also couldn't be more wrong. He explains that when you serve with people for long enough, a strong bond and a sense of family can form. Having served with Kirk and McCoy for so many years and owing his life to them a dozen times over, regardless of Starfleet's orders he's going to help his friends, "let the regulations be damned." Tuvok believes this to be a most illogical line of reasoning; Sulu tells Tuvok he "better believe it," and orders Excelsior to warp speed. Janeway tells Tuvok that he did the right thing, but Tuvok now feels that he may have been wrong to question Captain Sulu's orders.
Each one is extremely watchable (ask the millions of people who have whiled away afternoons sitting catatonic in front of whatever re-runs happened to be on Comedy Central) but some of them are much, much funnier than others. Take, for example, almost any episode in which Ross is part of the lead storyline. It has been said many, many times before, but Ross is clearly the best (and for that matter, the funniest) character on the show.
Ross is determined to prove that he could still beat up his female friends, Rachel and Phoebe, despite their recent self-defence classes. He claims that he has "Unagi", something he defines as a state of total awareness, in his years spent practising karate. Unagi is actually a type of freshwater eel.
Amy and Glenn watch Brett bag items and she explains that he escaped the tornado by driving away in his car. The store emailed the wrong Brett so he never knew he was supposed to return to work. Cheyenne and Mateo greet Brett enthusiastically to keep up the ruse that they were good friends with him. In the Warehouse, Garrett messes with Jonah by pretending to be sad that he saw a motorcycle that was responsible for his disability (which isn't true). Jonah knows Garrett is messing with him so Garrett explains that he doesn't want to reveal what caused his disability. In the shelter, Amy tries to drag Dina out and finally gets Dina to open up about her troubles. However, Dina goes back to her childhood and relates many tragic stories which she can't stop telling. Dina isn't interested in hearing Amy's fears now that her husband Adam is gone.
Later, at the cages, Sawyer wins another fish biscuit. Danny Pickett and some more Others open the cages and give them lunch. They escort Sawyer and Kate along a path way. They cross paths with Colleen's team, and she asks Pickett to wait. She whispers something to him about her mission. He tells her to be careful and kisses her on the cheek. Sawyer watches with a smirk.
That evening back in their cages, Sawyer speaks to Kate and reveals he was testing the strength of their guards and that it seemed that the others weren't used to violence. He also says that Juliet would have shot Kate without hesitation and that now they have to wait until the Others make a mistake. Kate asks Sawyer why she called him James and he tells her that it is because it is his name. While they talk, Ben is watching and listening to them on the security monitors.
In the aquarium, Ben visits Jack. He jokes, telling him a week ago they were in the exact opposite situation: Ben was locked up in the Swan, and Jack was the one coming in for visits. He then goes on to tell Jack that he lied about his identity because if he had told the truth about being a member of the group that the survivors call "the Others," it would have been right back to Sayid and his fists. Ben then tells Jack that he wants him to change his perspective on things. He then introduces himself as Benjamin Linus and offers his hand which Jack rejects. He also tells Jack that he has lived on the Island his whole life and that Jack's friends are close by. Ben tells Jack that he will need him to do something for him in the future and he will take him home, just like he did for Walt and Michael. Jack then tells Ben that he thinks that the Others are stuck on the Island just like them. Ben proves that the Others have contact with the outside world by telling Jack about events that have happened since Flight 815 crashed, including the re-election of US President George W. Bush, the death of Christopher Reeve, and the Boston Red Sox winning the World Series. Jack laughs at this. Ben shows Jack the video of the Red Sox winning the World Series. Ben tells Jack that he will take him home if Jack helps him when the time comes.

If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch the full collection on there for free, but it has ads. Also, like someone else mentioned above, you can also watch it on Tubi tv too. Good luck my fellow Columbo lover in India!
Even though I have the DVD set, I tend to watch the 62 episodes I have on DVR (Hallmark Mystery Ch HD) The beauty of it is that that my DVR scrolls up 5 min with one touch of the remote and the Hallmark commercials are exactly 5 min. It really is a thing a beauty. Just finished watching Any Old Port & Suitable for Framing again. Love it.
